Sewanee Athletics Hall of Fame
A two-time All-American and eight-time All-Conference selection competing in the breaststroke, Link was also a two-time champion, 2011 in the 200 Breaststroke (2:06.08) and 2012 in the 100-yard event (57.48).Â
The 2012 season saw him score at the NCAA Championships in both the 100 and 200. He finished in 13th place in both events to garner All-America Honorable Mentions. He was the seventh All-American in men's swimming and diving history at Sewanee. He made it to the NCAA Championships in each of his four years in the pool.Â
He currently holds the Sewanee record for the 100 breaststroke event (56.81) and is a part of the 400-yard medley (3:25.89). Additionally, he is second in the 200 breaststroke (2:03.94) and third in the 50-yard event (27.89).Â
In the classroom, he was Sewanee's 31st NCAA Postgraduate Scholar and earned the Individual Academic Award with the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA). He was rewarded with being named the first SAA Man of the Year in 2013.Â
On campus, he served as the President of Omicron Delta Kappa National Leadership Honor Society and as the Vice-President of Alpha Epsilon Delta National Medical Society. Link was a member of the Order of Gownsmen, a Presidential Scholar, and served as the treasurer of the Chi Psi Fraternity.
