Recording a 19-6 overall record, Sewanee defeated the host Trinity University, 5-4, in San Antonio, Texas to earn the team’s first conference championship and its third appearance in the NCAA Tournament …Brian Morrow, Lee Hamilton and Stephen Jackson were named All-Conference Singles Team … In doubles, the Tigers took all three positions, with K.C. Horne and Jackson named the No. 1; Morrow and Matthew Harris at the No. 2; and Jay Jones and Lanny Lewis at the No. 3 … Horne and Jackson were named All-Americans in doubles with a quarterfinal appearance in the NCAA Doubles Championship … Horne, a member of the Hall of Fame Class of 2006, was also named the National Rookie of the Year by the ITA … In 2011, in conjunction with the 20th anniversary of the SCAC, the 1993 Men’s Tennis team was listed in the top ten moments in conference history …
