In 2018, the Southern Athletic Association (SAA) constructed an Honor Society across the league. The Sigma Alpha Alpha Honor Society is a highly coveted honor that combines academic and athletic excellence. The qualifications for induction include the following:
- Must be a senior
- A 3.5 cumulative grade point average or higher
- Being named to the All-Conference First or Second Team
Following the 2023 season, 39 student-athletes from the University of the South have been inducted to the SAA's Sigma Alpha Alpha Honor Society.
