Sewanee Athletics Hall of Fame
A four-time All-Conference selection between the SCAC and the Southern Athletic Association (SAA), she was a two-time All-American.Â
Posting a 65-29 career record in singles, she is 18th in time in program history in singles wins. In 2013, she qualified for the NCAA Singles Championships and after knocking off Ariana Mokhtari of California Santa Cruz, she achieved All-America status with a win in the tournament.Â
Listed nationally in singles for three seasons, she finished with a No. 28 rank in singles when her career came to an end.
Between three different doubles partners, she achieved a record of 79-26 for the third-most all-time. In 2011, with partner Kate Stanford, the duo qualified for the NCAA Doubles Championships. Liles recorded a 24-7 that year, and the 24 wins are good for the sixth-most in Sewanee Women's Tennis history.Â
Two years later in 2013, with her sister Lindsey Liles C'16, they made it to the Doubles Championship and they secured an All-America honor with their win over Bridget Doyle/Anne Lombardi of Carleton (Minn.) College in the Round of 16.Â
Ranked in doubles in each of her last three years with Tiger Tennis, she finished No. 7 nationally when her collegiate career wrapped up.Â
The inaugural SAA Woman of the Year, she was the Class Valedictorian, a member of the Order of the Gown, the 2013 Senior Female Athlete of the Year, a finalist for the NCAA Woman of the Year and the Sewanee homecoming queen.Â
In the classroom, she was Sewanee's eighth Academic All-American®, selected by the College Sports Communicators (CSC), formerly the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) and was the 30th recipient of the NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship.Â
