Sewanee Athletics Hall of Fame
A four-year letter-winner with the cross country and track and field programs at the University of the South from 1998 to 2001, Koepke was a three-time All-Conference selection in cross country, becoming just the second in program history to achieve the feat three times in a career.Â
After finishing fifth at the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Championships in 1999 with a 5K time of 19:09, she came back in her senior year to win the event with a 19:12 mark to earn SCAC Runner of the Year honors.Â
On the track, she was an eight-time SCAC all-conference runner and two-time conference champion in the 10k and 3k her senior year. She earned All-region honors from 1998-2000.
Earning All-Region honors in 1998, 1999, and 2000, she qualified for the NCAA Championships in her junior and senior years. She also received the Outstanding Female Athlete of the Year award at graduation.Â
