Jane H. (Chapman) Fisher holds more individual SCAC swimming titles (11) than any, male or female, in conference history. This included four straight titles n the 100m freestyle. She is still the school record holder in four events (50m free, 100m free, 200m free, and 500m free) and still holds SCAC records in the 200m and 500m freestyles. Overall Chapman remains ranked in the top-five in five conference events through the 2011 season. Chapman was named the SCAC Female Swimmer-of-the-Year three times and in 1999 she became the SCAC’s first-ever All-American female swimmer after placing sixth in the 200m free at the NCAA Division III Championships. She repeated as an All-American a year later in 2000.
