Becker, Chiles, Edwards, Tudor named PING All-American

SEWANEE, Tenn. – Sewanee men's golf reached another milestone in its historic 2025-26 season as four Tigers earned Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) PING All-America honors, the most All-Americans in program history.

Turner Chiles was named a Second Team All-American, while Aidan Tudor earned Third Team All-America recognition. Elias Becker and Colin Edwards were selected as Honorable Mention All-Americans, giving Sewanee four nationally recognized players following the program's second consecutive Southern Athletic Association (SAA) championship.

The honor marks the second career All-America selection for both Chiles and Becker, while Tudor and Edwards earn the distinction for the first time.

Chiles capped another outstanding season by leading the Tigers with a 72.7 scoring average over 32 rounds. The sophomore collected five Top-16 finishes, including medalist honors at the Jekyll Island Collegiate and a runner-up finish at the SAA Championships. He recorded 13 rounds of par or better, including six rounds in the 60s, as one of the nation's top performers throughout the season. Chiles finished the year ranked No. 17 nationally and No. 11 in Region IV.

Tudor made an immediate impact in his freshman campaign, earning SAA Rookie of the Year, First Team All-SAA, and PING All-Region honors before adding All-America recognition. The New Market, Md., native posted five Top-15 finishes in 10 tournaments, highlighted by a third-place finish at the Discover DeKalb Emory Invitational and a tie for fifth at the SAA Championships. He finished with a 72.8 scoring average and matched Chiles with 13 rounds of par or better, including five rounds in the 60s. Tudor concluded the season ranked No. 20 nationally and No. 12 in Region IV and tied for 20th individually at the NCAA Division III Championships.

Becker closes his decorated Sewanee career as a two-time All-American after another stellar season. A First Team All-SAA selection, the Mexico City native earned medalist honors at the Gate City Invitational and tied for second at the SAA Championships among five Top-15 finishes. He matched Tudor with 13 rounds of par or better, including five rounds in the 60s, and finished the year with a 72.9 scoring average. Becker ended the season ranked No. 30 nationally and No. 16 in Region IV.

Edwards earned the first All-America honor of his career following one of the most consistent seasons of his time on the Mountain. The senior recorded four Top-15 finishes, including a tie for fifth at the Gate City Invitational and a tie for sixth at the Capitol City Classic. He closed the SAA Championships with three consecutive even-par rounds to finish tied for 13th and concluded the season with a 73.6 scoring average across 32 rounds. Edwards finished the campaign ranked No. 40 nationally and No. 18 in Region IV.

The four All-Americans helped power one of the finest seasons in Sewanee men's golf history. Under NCAA Division III Dave Williams National Coach of the Year Keenan Hickton, the Tigers claimed their second straight SAA championship while setting a conference record with a 54-hole score of 837 at Greystone Golf Club. Sewanee entered the NCAA Division III Championships ranked No. 3 in the final Bushnell/Golfweek Division III Coaches Poll and No. 2 in the Clippd rankings before finishing fourth nationally, the highest NCAA Championship finish in program history.
