Men's Golf ranked seventh in Bushnell/Golfweek DIII Preseason Coaches Poll

SEWANEE, Tenn. – The Sewanee men's golf team was ranked seventh in the 2026-27 Bushnell/Golfweek Division III Coaches' Preseason Poll, as announced by the organization on Friday.

Defending national champion Claremont-Mudd-Scripps topped the poll with 387 points and nine first-place votes. Huntingdon followed with 355 points and five first-place votes, while Carnegie Mellon and Illinois Wesleyan each received one first-place vote. Methodist rounded out the top five.

Emory, Sewanee, Washington and Lee, Kenyon, and Aurora completed the top 10. The Tigers received 310 points, finishing just 13 points behind sixth-place Emory.

Sewanee will open the 2026-27 season on Sept. 20 at the NCAA Preview in Williamsburg, Va. Christopher Newport will host the event at Kingsmill Resort.
