Price, Townsend garner IWLCA All-Region honors

SEWANEE, Tenn. – Marlin Price and Ella Townsend were named All-Region by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) in the West Region, as announced by the organization on Friday afternoon.

Price earned the second All-Region honor of her career, and the first time on the First Team as an attacker. The senior played and started in all 18 games this season, scoring 51 goals and adding 44 assists for 95 points. She added two game-winning goals and seven man-up goals with a man-down goal. The Carrollton, Va. native picked up 31 ground balls, caused 20 turnovers, and collected 34 draw controls.

Townsend earned the first honor of her career, earning Second Team honors as a defender. The junior started and played in all 18 games this season, causing 52 turnovers and picking up 66 ground balls. She also added three goals and two assists. The Austin, Texas native led the conference in caused turnovers per game, averaging 2.89, and is 29th in the nation, and was second in the SAA in ground balls per game, averaging 3.67 a game.

The Tigers wrapped up the 2026 season 14-4 and 4-1 in conference play.
