Edwards voted SAA Golfer of the Week

SEWANEE, Tenn. – Sewanee senior Colin Edwards earned SAA Men's Golfer of the Week honors on Wednesday after his performance earlier this week at the Capitol City Classic in Prattville, Ala., as announced by the conference office.

The Brookhaven, Ga., native shot an even-par 216 to tie for sixth individually. He opened the tournament with a two-over-par 74 in the first round and followed that with a two-under 70 with four birdies in the second round. He carded an even-par 72 on the final day of the tournament with four more birdies to finish even par.

Edwards posted 11 birdies and 31 pars over the 54 holes.
