SEWANEE, Tenn. – Sewanee's men's golf team is ranked fifth in the Bushnell/Golfweek Division III Coaches Poll, as announced Friday morning.

The Tigers are coming off a third-place finish at the Jekyll Island Collegiate, carding a 25-under team score across three rounds to finish just three strokes behind Washington and Lee. Sewanee opened its spring campaign with a tie for fifth place out of 20 teams at the Savannah Spring Invitational, followed by another strong showing with a tie for third at the Tiger Invitational the next weekend.

Huntingdon claimed the top spot in the poll, receiving all 15 first-place votes, while Washington and Lee and Carnegie Mellon checked in at No. 2 and No. 3, respectively. Emory sits fourth, with Sewanee rounding out the top five.
