SEWANEE, Tenn. – Sewanee senior
Alpha Bah was named Men's Soccer Athlete of the Week by the Tennessee Sports Writers Association after scoring a pair of goals and adding one assist in two matches for the Tigers.
In a win against Berea College, the Brooklyn, N.Y., native scored twice in the first five minutes, picking up a loose ball and firing into an empty net and then converting a penalty kick after being tackled in the box.
In a victory versus Southern Virginia, Bah assisted on a
Noah Bjorkman goal in the 59th minute, the final goal in the match for Sewanee. Bah has two goals and two assists through four matches this season.
Sewanee hosts Maryville College on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. at Puett Field.
