SEWANEE, Tenn. – Sewanee men's golf ended the fall season ranked sixth in the Bushnell/Golfweek Division III Coaches Poll, as released Friday by the Golf Coaches Association of America.
The Tigers won the Gate City Invitational to open the fall campaign, rising to No. 1 in the rankings, and finished 11
th among 24 teams at the NCAA Fall Preview. Sophomore
Turner Chiles (74.2), seniors
Colin Edwards (74.3) and
Elias Becker (74.4) and freshman
Aidan Tudor (74.9) all posted scoring averages below 75 in 10 rounds this fall.
Other SAA members in the rankings include Oglethorpe University (10
th), Southwestern University (14
th) and Trinity University (22
nd).
