Isaac Rasheed posted two goals with an assist in two victories for Sewanee, earning SAA Men's Soccer Player of the Week honors, as announced Monday by the conference office.
The Mt. Pleasant, S.C., native registered a goal in the 58th minute to give the Tigers a 2-0 lead versus Oglethorpe University in Friday's 3-0 triumph. He followed that with a goal and an assist in Sunday's 3-1 victory over Berry College, finding the back of the net for the game-winner in the 55th minute and assisting on a final goal of the match by
Stokes McConnell in the 81
st minute.
Rasheed has scored five goals with four assists in 17 outings this season. Sewanee ends the regular season this Saturday, hosting Centre College at 5:30 p.m. at Puett Field.
