IHSA Finishes First in Day 2 of MTSU Show

SEWANEE, Tenn. – Laura-Ann Moore and Nell Grady tied for the High Point Rider Award as the IHSA team tied for first with MTSU on day two of the MTSU Spring Show. Today's win put the Tigers ahead in the overall regional standings.

Shelton Griffith and Emma Sameth qualified for regionals in their respective divisions, Griffith in Novice and Sameth in Open Fences.

Nell Grady took home first for the Tigers in the Open Fences division. Emma Sameth placed second and Jenna McAmis was fifth in the Open Fences.

Grady, Sameth, and McAmis all placed in the Open Flat division as well. Sameth collected second, Grady was third, and McAmis was fourth.

In the intermediate division, Kelly Baumgart placed fifth in both the fences and the flat. Mollie McWhorter collected second in the Intermediate Flat as well.

Laura-Ann Moore took home first in the Limit Flat B division and third in the Limit Fences for the High Point Rider award.

Claire Dillard placed first in the Limit Flat A division and London Eller finished fourth for the Tigers.

In the Novice Division, Dechanaa Ramesh finished fifth. In the Pre-Novice division, Tony Calderon Gonzalez placed second and Bailey Pezzella collected fourth.

Finally, in the Introductory Division, Hannah Fitzgerald took home silver, and Abdul Maflahi collected fifth.
