ATLANTA - For the second time this season,
Winnie Pajcic of the University of the South's women's lacrosse team claimed the Southern Athletic Association's (SAA) Defensive Player of the Week after her performance in the Tigers 1-1 week.
In the Tigers' conference game with BSC, she forced four turnovers and scooped up five ground balls.
Saturday against Southwestern, picking up five ground balls, she also added two forced turnovers.
She finished the week with six caused turnovers and 10 ground balls.
After Sewanee's win over Mount Holyoke (Mass.), 19-9, on Monday, the Tigers are back in action on Tuesday to wrap up their trip to the Lone Star State against North Central College.
