ATLANTA - Announced on Monday by the Southern Athletic Association (SAA), freshman
Winnie Pajcic has been chosen as the SAA Women's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week.
In two games in Minneapolis, the Jacksonville, Fla. native posted five caused turnovers and three ground balls.
Additionally, in Sewanee's 20-1 win over Augsburg, she forced four of the team's 23 turnovers, joining teammate
Caroline Harlick for the most in the victory.
The Tigers return to action this weekend with their home opener against Piedmont on Saturday. Face off is scheduled for noon from Puett Field.
