Box Score SEWANEE, Tenn. - The Sewanee women's lacrosse team was left in a fog for most of the contest with the Maroons of Roanoke College. The visitors took the contest, 19-5, Monday night from a foggy Puett Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-The visitors got out to a 2-0 advantage six minutes into the contest. The Tigers, however, responded with a free position goal by Preston Cooper while the team was man-up nearly a minute and a half later.
-Roanoke pushed the lead back to two goals about a minute-plus later, but the Tigers cut it back to a one-goal deficit after another free position goal, this time by Sarah Strand.
-The Maroons took over from there, scoring the next 11 goals in the final 17 minutes of the first half to clinch the contest.
SEWANEE KEY STATISTICS
-Hadley Meadows and Sarah Strand each scored twice for Sewanee. Strand and Hattie Fogarty each won five draw controls.
-Caroline Roncalli (1-1) saved four shots in 30 minutes.
ROANOKE KEY STATISTICS
-Lilly Blair led the Maroons with seven goals, while Emerson Foster posted five scores.
-Carly Schoudel (3-1) stopped four shots in full time.
