Box Score DEMOREST, Ga. - The Sewanee women's lacrosse team continued its early season dominance with a 14-5 rout of Piedmont College on Saturday afternoon from the Walker Athletic Complex.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-Sewanee scored the first 13 goals of the contest, as the defense held the hosts to its first goal 42 minutes into the contest.
-Hattie Fogarty knocked in three straight goals in a five-minute span in the first half to push the lead to 7-0 with 20 minutes left.
-For the game, Sewanee out-shot Piedmont, 29-12, won the draw control battle, 13-8, and the Tigers successfully made 14-of-17 clears.
SEWANEE KEY STATISTICS
-Hattie Fogarty led the Tigers with four goals on six shots, while Lily Farriss added a hat trick on four shots.
-Sarah Strand posted four caused turnovers, draw controls and ground balls each.
-Amanda Jenkins (3-0) saved four shots in 30 minutes for the Tigers.
PIEDMONT KEY STATISTICS
-Rowan Bumpass led the Lions with three goals, while Anna Watson added six ground balls and four caused turnovers.
-Hunter Parrett (1-2) stopped 11 shots in full time.
