Second Round Results | Final Round Pairings
DICKSON, Tenn. - The 22nd-ranked Sewanee men's golf team fired a 299 second round to move up one spot to second after the second round of the 2018 Southern Athletic Association Men's Golf Championships at the Greystone Golf Club.

TOP PERFORMANCES
-Gray Matthews and Tommy Oliver will enter Sunday's final round with a three-over, 147, good for a tie for third place. The duo is one stroke behind the co-leaders in Kyle Estay of Millsaps and Corrie Kuehn of Rhodes.
-Matthews, after chipping in three birdies in the opening round on Friday, he fired a 74 second round.
-Oliver fired a birdie on the second hole and an eagle on the 10th hole. After a 38 front nine, the Sewanee native, thanks to the eagle, finished with a 35, one-under back nine.
-Taylor Mottern is three strokes back of the co-leaders with a five-over, 149.
-George Hite scored a 152, while Nick Powell totaled 153 strokes.
-Nic Vandeventer rounds out the Sewanee scoring with a 165.
-The team finished in a tie with Rhodes for second with 299. Birmingham-Southern, currently in fourth, fired a 297. The Tigers are chasing down Rhodes, who has scored a 589 through 36 holes. Oglethorpe is in third with a 600.
UP NEXT
The final round will begin, weather permitting, on Sunday with an 8 a.m. shotgun start.
