HOW IT HAPPENED
-Sewanee sprinted to a 10-0 halftime lead thanks to winning eight draw controls and 18 ONU turnovers.
-Only taking eight shots the entire contest, Ohio Northern netted their lone goal with 6:40 left in the contest.
-Winning their fourth match in the last five days, Sewanee won 13 draws, finished 19-of-24 on clear attempts and scooped up 33 groundballs.
SEWANEE KEY STATISTICS
-Catherine Crigler scored twice, added an assist and won three draws.
-Sarah Strand forced three turnovers and also won three draw controls to go with the two goals scored.
-Alden Woolford collected six grounders and forced four changes in possession, as well as two goals.
-Amanda Jenkins (4-0) allowed just two shots and saved both of them in the first half.
OHIO NORTHERN KEY STATISTICS
-Ann McArn scored the lone goal for the Polar Bears.
-Shannel Larsen Van Alstine caused four turnovers and scooped up four grounders.
