SEWANEE, Tenn. – Winnie Pajcic was named USA Lacrosse Honorable Mention All-American, as announced by the organization on Wednesday afternoon.
Pajcic, a native of Jacksonville, Fla., earned her first career All-American honors. A key leader on defense, she started all 18 games and helped the Tigers hold opponents to just 114 goals on the season. Pajcic totaled 30 caused turnovers, 31 ground balls, and 11 draw controls.
The senior ends her collegiate career with 73 starts and 74 games played, 118 caused turnovers, 127 ground balls, 24 draw controls, two goals and an assist.
The Tigers wrapped up a historic season with an undefeated regular season, their first Southern Athletic Association (SAA) Championship since 2015, and a second-round appearance in the NCAA Tournament.
