Women’s Lacrosse named IWLCA Academic Honor Squad as 11 Tigers earn Academic Honors Roll Honors

SEWANEE, Tenn. – Sewanee's women's lacrosse team has been named to the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) 2025 Academic Honor Squad, and 11 members of the team have been named to the Academic Honor Roll.

The IWLCA has named 383 schools across Division I, II, and III, and NAIA as IWLCA Academic Honor Squads for the 2024-25 academic year. To qualify for this prestigious honor, the women's lacrosse team must have posted a 3.2 or higher team GPA for the academic year. The Tigers completed the 2024-25 academic year with a 3.60 GPA.

The IWLCA has also honored 1,286 student-athletes from 201 different institutions on the 2024-25 IWLCA Division III Academic Honor Roll. To be eligible for this honor, student-athletes must be a junior, senior, or graduate student and have earned a cumulative academic GPA of 3.50 or greater.

Alexa Berg, Claire Dillard, Clara Earley, Sally Herrington, Mallory Magee, Madison Mezzatesta, Elizabeth Muller, Winnie Pajcic, Jessie Salisbury, Claire Saverino, and Brooke Sigmon have garnered the IWLCA Academic Honor Roll honors.
