SEWANEE, Tenn. – Sewanee women's lacrosse coach
Michele Dombrowski released the team's 2026 schedule on Thursday, which features nine home games at Puett Field and a four-game road trip to begin the campaign.
Sewanee won the SAA regular season and conference tournament championships last season, posting a 17-0 mark before falling in the NCAA Tournament.
The Tigers begin the 2026 schedule with contests against Wisconsin-River Falls and Wisconsin-Eau Claire in Eau Claire, Wis., on February 14-15 and travel to Kentucky the following weekend for outings at Transylvania University and Spalding University.
The home schedule begins Feb. 28 against Piedmont University and after a game against John Carroll in Memphis, Tenn., on March 6, the Tigers plays six of the next seven outings at home.
Sewanee faces Lake Forest College (March 10), Wittenberg University (March 11) and Rowan University (March 17) before opening conference play at Centre College on March 21. The next three-game homestand begins March 24 versus George Fox, with contests versus DePauw University (March 28) and Southwestern University (March 29).
The Tigers travel to Berry College on April 4 followed by a home game against Oglethorpe University on April 11. The squad hits the road for Roanoke College on April 19 and ends league play at home versus Rhodes College on April 25.
The SAA Championships are scheduled for April 30 (semifinals) and May 2 (finals) in Memphis, a four-team tournament to crown the league champion and earn the automatic berth into the NCAA Tournament, which begins May 9 at host sites.
