HOW IT HAPPENED
- Sewanee netted 10 goals in the first half before sealing nine goals in the final 30 minutes.
-Temple Moore recorded a hat trick in the first half, scoring at the 22:34, 3:10 and 0:19 marks.
-As a team, the Tigers took 40 shots, and limited the Loggers to just three shots, none in the second half.
-The Sewanee defense totaled 34 turnovers, 26 with actual cause, and limited the opposition to 9-of-28 clear attempts.
SEWANEE KEY STATISTICS
-Three Tigers recorded hat tricks on Saturday: Phoebe Stirm, Catherine Crigler and Temple Moore.
-To go with her three goals, Crigler won two draw controls.
-Grace Zechman also scored twice for the Tigers and tallied three assists.
-Grace Fulton took four draws, while scooping up four grounders and caused three turnovers.
-Caroline Roncalli (1-0) recorded her first career win for Sewanee, saving two shots.
PUGET SOUND KEY STATISTICS
-Izzy Amaya took two shots for Puget Sound.
-Ally Benko (1-4) saved 14 shots in full time for the Loggers.
