Box Score SEWANEE, Tenn. - The Sewanee women's lacrosse team saw its win streak of six come to an end on Sunday, as the Transylvania Pioneers edge the Tigers, 14-13, from Puett Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-Trailing 5-3 with 18 minutes to go in the opening half, Sewanee used a 5-1 run the remainder of the half, led by two goals by Alden Woolford at the 14:18 mark and the 12:09 mark. Sewanee led 8-6 at the break.
-Transy netted two goals in the first three minutes of the second half to even the score at eight goals apiece.
-After the teams traded goals to keep the match even at nine, the Pioneers took the 10-9 advantage with a goal by Shelby Wuest with 21:38 to go.
-34 seconds later, the Tigers evened the score again at 10 goals apiece with a Preston Cooper goal.
-Wuest netted the next two goals for Transylvania in a span of 51 seconds to give the visitors a 12-10 advantage.
-Sewanee, down 14-12 with less than three minutes left in regulation, cut the deficit to one again with a Mary Kate Myers goal.
-With less than two minutes left, Sewanee got the ball back on a TU turnover looking for the equalizing goal. After a successful clear attempt, the Tigers turned the ball over with less than a minute to go.
