Weaver's goal helps Ozarks past Sewanee

CLARKSVILLE, Ark. (Sept. 21, 2014) – A goal by Matt Weaver helped host Ozarks (Ark.) defeat the Sewanee men's soccer team Sunday, 1-0, at Hurie Soccer Field.

Weaver scored the game-winner in the 72nd minute off an assist from Thomas Mills.

Overall, Sewanee finished with a slight 10-9 advantage in shots while leading in corners 10-8.

Individually, Walker Ueland, Christian Gonzalez, and Bobby Zolper all finished with two shots.

Ozarks keeper Austin Benner pitched the shutout after stopping five shots on goal.

The Tigers continue their three-match road trip with a 2:00 p.m. (EST) contest at nationally-ranked Emory, Saturday.
