Box Score NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Feb. 12, 2013) – Led by a career-high 28 points from junior Paige Lowe, the Sewanee women's basketball team rolled over Welch College, 71-26, Tuesday.
The Tigers wasted little time, as Sewanee quickly built a 33-12 halftime lead.
Along with Lowe's incredible night, freshman Jamie Chauvin added 11 points while senior Dee Bradford, and sophomores Jamie Samociuk and Emily Culbertson finished with nine points.
Additionally, Culbertson's total was a career-high after she finished 3-for-3 from outside the three-point line.
Tuesday's 45-point win marked the largest margin of victory for Sewanee this season. In fact, the Tigers have not defeated an opponent by more points since Nov. 19, 2011 (Judson - 67 points).
Sewanee will look to win its first Southern Athletic Association (SAA) game this season with a 6:00 p.m., contest at Rhodes, Friday.
