Olivia Falvey both received Honorable Mention All-SAA honors in a vote of league coaches announced Tuesday by the conference office.
Boyd ranks third on the club in scoring with 12.8 points per game with 3.9 rebounds per outing while ranking third on the club in assists (47) and first in steals (49) in 25 games this season. The Jacksonville, Fla., native came on strong as the season progressed, netting a team-best 14.0 points along with 5.2 rebounds in conference play, shooting 34 percent from 3-point range in the 14 league games.
Boyd scored in double figures in 11-of-14 SAA contests, including 21 points with nine rebounds versus Trinity University, 22 points against Southwestern University and 20 points versus Oglethorpe University. She scored in double figures 18 times this season, netting 22 points at Covenant College and 20 versus Centre College.
Falvey averaged 15.2 points, 5.8 rebounds and 2.4 assists in 25 games this season, leading the team in scoring. The Boston, Mass., native scored 20-plus points seven times, including 26 points against Belhaven University and 24 versus Warren Wilson and Millsaps College, and netted double figures in 18-of-25 contests. She ranks in the Top 6 in the conference in six categories, including third in field goal attempts (336), free throws made (99) and 3-point attempts (139), fourth in free throw attempts (143) and sixth in total points (381) and points per game. She garnered Second Team All-SAA accolades as a sophomore and junior.
