As a Freshman – injured her knee in preseason practice and missed entire season…also a member of the women’s soccer team at Sewanee… named to the SCAC Academic Honor Roll.

High School – coached by Rebecca Brooks… lettered in basketball all four years of high school, while being captain her senior season… named NEPSWBCA Class A & B All Star… recipient of defensive MVP award and Washburn Basketball Award… Rivers Holiday Basketball Tournament all-tournament team… was an AP Scholar with Distinction her senior year… member of Cum Laude Society.

Personal – daughter of John and Holly Samociuk… born on May 12, 1993… has one brother, Daniel.
