Tudor, Becker, Chiles, Edwards named PING All-Region IV

SEWANEE, Tenn. – Aidan Tudor, Elias Becker, Turner Chiles, and Colin Edwards earned PING All-Region IV honors, as announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA). Players from seven regions and 58 schools earned honors.

The selections add to a banner year for the Tigers, who captured their second consecutive Southern Athletic Association (SAA) Championship while setting a conference record with a 54-hole team score of 837 at Greystone Golf Club.

Tudor, the SAA Rookie of the Year and a First Team All-SAA selection, made an immediate impact in his debut season. The freshman tallied five Top-15 finishes in 10 events, including a third-place finish at the Discover DeKalb Emory Invitational and a tie for fifth at the SAA Championships. The New Market, Md., native recorded 13 rounds of par or better, including five in the 60s, and posted a 72.8 scoring average over 28 rounds.

Becker, a senior and First Team All-SAA honoree, secured All-Region recognition after posting five Top-15 finishes this season. He claimed medalist honors at the Gate City Invitational and tied for second at the SAA Championships. The Mexico City native matched Tudor with 13 rounds of par or better, including five rounds in the 60s, while finishing the year with a 72.9 scoring average in 28 rounds.

Chiles, also a First Team All-SAA selection, continued his strong sophomore campaign with PING All-Region honors. The Houston, Texas, native posted five Top-16 finishes, highlighted by a win at the Jekyll Island Collegiate and a tie for second at the SAA Championships. Chiles led the Tigers with a 72.7 scoring average and recorded 13 rounds of par or better, including six rounds in the 60s.

Edwards, a Second Team All-SAA selection, rounded out the honorees after a consistent senior season. The Brookhaven, Ga., native recorded four Top-15 finishes, including a tie for fifth at the Gate City Invitational and a tie for sixth at the Capitol City Classic. He closed the SAA Championships with three straight rounds of even par to finish tied for 13th. Edwards totaled 11 rounds of 72 or better and finished with a 73.7 scoring average across 28 rounds.

The quartet played a key role in Sewanee's championship season under SAA Coach of the Year Keenan Hickton, helping the Tigers deliver an unprecedented performance at the conference championships, with every counted round finishing under par. Sewanee enters the NCAA Division III Championships ranked No. 3 nationally in the final 2025–26 Bushnell/Golfweek Division III Coaches Poll and No. 2 in the Clippd rankings.

The Tigers will begin NCAA Championship play on Tuesday, May 12, at 6:30 a.m., teeing off every 10 minutes, with Becker leading Sewanee from Course A at Mission Inn Resort's El Campeón course.
