Catapano earns last SAA Athlete of the Week honors

SEWANEE, Tenn. – Natalie Catapano earned the last SAA Women's Golf Athlete of the Week honors for the 2026 season as announced by the conference office on Tuesday afternoon. The honor marks the freshman's fourth of the season.

In a tournament that included five teams ranked in the Top 16 nationally, Catapani tied for 13th individually with scores of 74-77 at the Deb Jackson Invitational. The Pacific Palisades, Calif., native registered 14 pars with one birdie in the first round and 11 pars and one birdie in the second round. It marks her seventh Top-15 finish in eight events this year.

The Tigers will open conference play in the SAA Championships this Friday at Greystone Golf Club in Dickson, Tenn.
