SEWANEE, Tenn. – Sewanee's
Natalie Catapano was voted SAA Women's Golf Player of the Week, tying for 15
th individually at the Jekyll Island Women's Collegiate, as announced by the league office Wednesday.
The Pacific Palisades, Calif., native posted consecutive rounds of three-over par 75 in the second and third rounds, moving up 11 spots after the final round, tying for 15th individually, the best finisher among five SAA teams in the field.
Catapano made two birdies in both the second and third rounds and registered 32 pars. She did not make worse than a bogey over the 54 holes and has finished in the Top 15 in five of six tournaments this academic year.
