Bowman garners SAA Athlete of the Week honors

SEWANEE, Tenn. – Senior goalkeeper, Flynn Bowman, picked up his first Defensive Athlete of the Week honors of the season as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon.

Bowman recorded a 64.7 save percentage this weekend, helping Sewanee past Transylvania at their home opener. The Chestertown, Md., stopped 11 of Transylvania's 17 shots on goal to help his team to a convincing 14-6 win on Saturday afternoon. Bowman also helped facilitate a perfect 23-of-23 day, clearing the ball while adding a ground ball to his performance.

Sewanee will host Piedmont on Wednesday, March 4th at 4 p.m. before heading to Jacksonville for Spring Break to face DeSales University with a Noon ET start.
