Price named USA Lacrosse Preseason All-American

SEWANEE, Tenn. – Senior Marlin Price was named a USA Lacrosse Preseason All-American Honorable Mention, as announced by the organization Tuesday afternoon.

Price was one of 89 players honored nationwide and was recognized as an attacker. The Carrollton, Va., native capped her junior campaign by appearing in all 17 games, making 16 starts, and posting 62 goals and 24 assists for 86 points. She added four game-winning goals, 10 man-up goals, and two man-down goals. In addition, Price recorded 34 draw controls, 20 ground balls, and eight caused turnovers during the 2025 season.

The reigning Southern Athletic Association Offensive Player of the Year and a first-team All-SAA selection, Price also earned IWLCA second-team All-Region honors.

Sewanee finished the 2025 regular season undefeated and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament. The Tigers open the 2026 campaign in Wisconsin on Feb. 14–15, facing Wisconsin River Falls and Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
