Women's Track and Field completes final day of SAA Track and Field Championships

SEWANEE, Tenn. – Sewanee's women's track and field completed the final day of the 2025 Southern Athletic Association Conference Championships.

The 4x400-meter relay team of Abigail Armstrong, Page Wells, Rhodes, and Laney Kalsu led the way, securing a fourth-place finish with a time of 4:13.68. Sewanee's 4x100-meter relay team of Emory Rhodes, Arianna Shirak, Jocelyn Coveney, and Journey Morrison secured a fifth place finish with a time of 52.43 seconds.

In the 800 meters, Kalsu took sixth in 2:23.93, with Armstrong and Wells finishing 11th and 12th, respectively. Elizabeth Cook finished 11th in the 1500 meters with a time of 5:05.76, while Eleanor Graham placed 16th in the 5000 meters, clocking 20:23.54.
Jocelyn Coveney recorded a seventh-place finish in the 400-meter hurdles, posting a time of 1:13.54.

In the field events, Cydney Wright placed fifth in the shot put (12.06 meters / 39-6.75), third best in school history, and 12th in the discus (30.68 meters / 100-8), while Hannah Cleveland added a 12th-place finish in the shot put (10.23 meters / 33-6.75). Kamilla Haidaienko finished eighth in the discus (34.62 meters / 113-7) and 14th in the shot put (10.02 meters / 32-10.50).

Sewanee's women's team placed 7th overall with 23 points.
