Falvey continues climb on career lists for Tigers

SEWANEE, Tenn. – Senior Olivia Falvey continues to move up the career records list at Sewanee, entering the Top 10 in scoring and grabbing her 500th rebound in Saturday's victory against Warren Wilson College.
 
The Boston, Mass., native posted 24 points and eight rebounds versus the Owls, moving into 10th place on the all-time scoring list with 1,191 points. She has passed Brandi Poole (1,088 points, 1994-97), Dani Pettay (1,169, 2004-07) and Zanna Brawner (1,176, 1980-83) this season and needs just eight points to surpass Jamie Chauvin (1,199, 2013-16) for ninth place on the scoring list.
 
Falvey became just the seventh player in program history with 1,000 points and 500 rebounds for the Tigers. She has 506 career boards after Saturday's game, good for 14th on the all-time list. Diane Farrar (577, 1986-89) ranks 13th on the career rebounding list.
 
The Tigers host Belhaven University this Saturday at 1 p.m. at Juhan Gymnasium, the team's final home game before Christmas.
