Men's lacrosse releases 2026 schedule

SEWANEE, Tenn. – Sewanee men's lacrosse head coach Nick DiBernardo has announced the Tigers' 2026 schedule, which features eight home contests at McGee Field and the program's third annual Music City Classic in Nashville, Tenn.

The Tigers are coming off their third straight appearance in the SAA Championship game in 2025, finishing as conference runer-up to Rhodes.

Sewanee opens the season on February 7 at Randolph-Macon before heading to Nashville to face Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and Albion in the Music City Classic on Feb. 14-15.

The Tigers begin their home slate on Feb. 21 against Transylvania, followed by a midweek matchup with Piedmont on March 4 at 4 p.m.

After a spring break trip to Jacksonville, Fla., where Sewanee will take on DeSales, the Tigers return to the Mountain for four straight home games. The stretch includes the SAA opener versus Centre on March 15, non-conference matchups with Scranton (March 17) and Nazareth (March 20), and a return to league play against Hendrix on March 22.

Sewanee then heads to Georgetown, Texas, for its first conference road game at Southwestern, and will face Colorado College in a neutral-site contest during the trip.

The Tigers come home to host Berry on April 4 before wrapping up non-conference play against Southern Virginia on April 6.

Sewanee closes out the 2026 regular season with road contests at Oglethorpe and Rhodes on April 11 and 18.

The 2026 SAA Championships are slated for April 30 (semifinals) and May 2 (finals) in Danville, Ky. The four-team tournament will determine the league's automatic qualifier for the NCAA Tournament, which begins May 9 at campus host sites.
