SEWANEE, Tenn. – Sewanee's
Shepard Ramsey and
Kennedy Harcourt were both named to the All-Tournament team at the conclusion of the Collegiate Field Hockey Conference Championships, as released by the league office Monday.
Ramsey netted all three goals in the Tigers' 3-2 victory over Centre College in the quarterfinals of the league tournament this past week in Fond du Lac, Wis., including the game-winner in the 51
st minute. She also netted a goal in the team's semifinal loss to Mary Washington.
Harcourt anchored the backline in both matches at center back. She also served as the fly on defensive penalty corners and played an integral role in preventing shots on those opportunities during the tournament. The Tigers allowed only eight shots against Centre and just 14 in the loss to Mary Washington.
