SEWANEE, Tenn. – Shepard Ramsey scored her fourth goal in two days, but the Tigers fell to top-seeded Mary Washington in the semifinals of the CFHC Tournament on Friday afternoon.

The Eagles controlled possession throughout the match, finishing with a 14-2 advantage in shots and earning 14 penalty corners. Sewanee kept Mary Washington off the board in the first quarter, as goalkeeper Miriam Hussaini collected two saves while the Tigers limited the Eagles to three shots.

Mary Washington broke through in the second, capitalizing on four penalty corners and converting twice to take a 2-0 lead at the half. The Eagles added two more quick goals early in the third, again off penalty corner opportunities.

Sewanee responded with a goal of its own off a corner, as Natalie BeVier inserted to Molly Haskell, who sent a pass into the circle that Ramsey tipped into the cage. The Eagles added one more goal late in the third to round out the scoring.

Hussaini ended the game with seven saves.
