Olsen garners SAA Athlete of the Week honors

SEWANEE, Tenn. – Sewanee's Andrew Olsen has been named the Southern Athletic Association Men's Swimmer of the Week, the league office announced Tuesday.

Olsen posted the fastest 50 backstroke time in the conference this season, clocking in at 23.94. The sophomore also recorded an impressive meet for the Tigers, winning the 100 freestyle with a time of 46.90 and finishing second in the 100 backstroke at 52.24.

In relay action, Olsen helped the Tigers' medley relay to a fourth-place finish and closed out the meet by anchoring the 400 freestyle relay with another 46.90 split.
