SEWANEE, Tenn. – Freshman
Natalie Catapano shot a bogey-free five-under 67, an individual school record, and Sewanee women's golf posted another program-best with a 292 team score Monday in the second round of the Golfweek Fall Classic at The Links at Sandestin in Destin, Fla.
Senior

Anna Claire Gibson both carded two-over 74 on Monday as well. The Tigers moved up eight spots in the team standings to eighth with a team score of 292, the second-best team score of the day and 34 shots better than their first-round score. The tournament concludes Tuesday with the final 18 holes.
Starting on the back nine for the second consecutive day, Catapano made four birdies and five pars, including birdies on holes 11, 14, 16 and 18. The Pacific Palisades, Calif., native registered eight pars and one birdie on the front nine for five-under 67, taking the individual lead at one-under par 143 by one stroke over DePauw University's Becky Williams
Gibson's first nine holes looked like a roller coaster with three birdies (11, 14, 18), four bogeys and just two pars. The Knoxville, Tenn., native collected six pars with a birdie at No. 3 and two bogeys on the front nine, finishing at two-over 74 for a 36-hole score of 154, tied for 30
th but only two shots from the Top 20.
Stilz rebounded on Monday with a two-over 74 that included four birdies, two on each side. The Lexington, Ky., native started and ended the back nine with birdies and posted one bogey and one double bogey on the back side. She tallied birdies on holes two and five on the front with one bogey and one double there as well. She has a two-day total of 157, tied for 45
th.
Junior
Olivia Bentley also had a nice rebound in the second round, shooting five-over 77. The Nashville, Tenn., native made one bogey and one double with six pars on the back nine before a birdie at No. 18. She added birdies on holes three and nine on the front along with one bogey and two doubles and has a 36-hole score of 164, tied for 67
th.
Junior
Payton Burch got off to a rough start with two doubles and then a nine on the par-4 13
th hole. The Elgin, S.C., native settled down after that, posting eight pars, five bogeys and a double over the last 14 holes for an 88 and a two-day total of 178.
