Win Streak Ends at Six for Field Hockey in Loss at DePauw

GREENCASTLE, Ind. - The Sewanee field hockey saw its six-game winning streak come to an end on Sunday with a 2-0 defeat at DePauw Sunday afternoon from Reavis Stadium.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-DePauw struck for two goals in the fourth and ninth minutes to jump out to an early 2-0 lead.

-That lead would hold up for the Indiana Tigers, as they held Sewanee to just four shots for the contest.

SEWANEE KEY STATISTICS
-Hannah Tompkins recorded two of the four shots for Sewanee.

-Rachel Blum (1-1) saved five shots in full time.

DEPAUW KEY STATISTICS
-Kate Milner and Maddi Little each scored for DePauw in the win.

-Allie Duranceau (1-0) saved one shot in full time.

The Tigers return to Puett Field for a four-game homestand, as they open Southern Athletic Association play with Rhodes Saturday afternoon at noon.
