SEWANEE, Tenn. -- Sewanee will wrap up a weekend of SCAC play today in Juhan Gym as the men tip off against the Tigers of DePauw at noon and the women tip off at 2 pm. For live stats of both games, clcik the link below:

For the noon opener, the 2-5 Sewanee men are looking for a league win after falling to 0-1 in the SCAC Friday night against Centre. Seniors
Bradley Pierson (Rome, Ga., Darlington) and
Ben Pursell (Franklin, Tenn., BGA) are averaging in double digits and the Tigers will look to its veterans to lead the charge. Pursell also leads with seven rebounds per game. Sewanee will close out its Advent semester play Tuesday night at Emory.
3-3 DePauw is also looking to pick up its first SCAC win today after falling 67-63 to Oglethorpe Friday in a near miss.
Mike Moore is leading the Tiger scoring with a 17.2 ppg average.
Tom Callen also is in double digits with a 12.8 ppg average and leads the squad with a 5.7 rebound per game average. DePauw will face Purdue-North Central on December 10 in its next competition.
For the women, Sewanee is 0-5 and is looking for a league win after falling 52-20 in a heartbreaker to Centre Friday night.
Dickie McCarthy's Tigers are currently being led by sophomore point guard
Carla Smiley (Nashville, Tenn., Father Ryan), who is averaging 11.4 points per game. Seniors
Rachel Miller (Monterey, Tenn., Monterey) and
Anne Wills (Thomson, Ga., Briarwood)are also providing leadership and experience toa young Tiger squad. In it's next contest, the Tigers will host Alabama-Huntsville on Tuesday night in Juhan Gym.
DePauw is 3-3 and dropped a close contest with Oglethorpe 84-81 on Friday. Cassie Pruzin leads the DePauw scoring effort with a 12.3 ppg average. Emily Marshall leads DePauw in rebounds, averaging 8.5 per game and also is in double digit scoring with a 10.8 ppg average. The Tigers will play next at Augustana on December 13.
