SEWANEE, Tenn. -- Sewanee's women will tip-off against the Chargers of Alabama-Huntsville tonight at 6 pm in Juhan Gym. The Tigers are looking for a win after a 0-6 start to the 2008-09 season. The Tigers are led on the court by seniors
Anne Wills (Thomson, Ga., Briarwood) and
Rachel Miller (Monterey, Tenn., Monterey) and point guard
Carla Smiley (Nashville, Tenn., Father Ryan), who is averaging 10.4 points per game and is 13-29 from behind the three-point line.
Division II UAH is 1-8 and is coming off of a 91-88 loss to Martin Methodist earlier this week. The Chargers are led on the court by
Ashley Boykin, who is averaging over 16 points per game.
Kristin Banes leads UAH with 5.2 rebounds per game.
