Phillips earns SAA Athlete of the Week

SEWANEE, Tenn. – Niel Phillips earned SAA Athlete of the Week, after tying for 12th at the NCAA Preview at Kingsmill Resort in Williamsburg, Va. 

Phillips opened the tournament with an even-par 71 before firing a five-under 66 in the second round, his lowest round of the tournament. He followed with a two-over 73 in the final round to finish at three-under 210 for the tournament. Phillips helped the Tigers finish tied for seventh at the NCAA Fall Preview.
