SEWANEE, Tenn. – Sewanee sophomore
Aidan Petrocco was voted SAA Baseball Player of the Week on Monday after batting .643 with three doubles, four RBIs and six runs scored in three games for the Tigers.
The Johns Creek, Ga., native collected nine hits in 14 at-bats with two walks over the three contests against Anderson University. He posted two hits, two walks and two runs scored in the opener.
Petrocco collected three hits with a double and two runs scored in Saturday's first game and four hits with two doubles, three RBIs and two more runs scored in the series finale.
Sewanee won 2-of-3 games against Anderson to start the season and hosts Oberlin College this weekend for a three-game series beginning Friday at 2 p.m.
