SEWANEE, Tenn. – Sophomore
Turner Chiles recorded five birdies in a round of two-under 69 for Sewanee men's golf Sunday in the first round of the NCAA Division III Fall Preview on the Las Colinas course at Mission Inn Resort in Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla., outside Orlando.

th among 24 teams after the first 18 holes in the 54-hole event with a team score of 294. Kenyon College shot 278 for a four-stroke advantage over Emory University.
Chiles birdied his first hole of the day, No. 1, and added a birdie at nine and one bogey on the front nine. The Houston, Texas, native added two more birdies on holes 11 and 12 along with four pars on the back, but he finished the day with bogey-birdie-bogey on 16, 17 and 18 for two-under 69, tied for ninth, three strokes behind Oglethorpe University's Jackson Hiller.

Colin Edwards all carded four-over rounds of 75 while sophomore
John Circeo posted a five-over 76.
Tudor got off to a rough start with a bogey at No. 1 and a double bogey at No. 3 before rebounding with four pars and a birdie at No. 5, but he bogeyed No. 9 to make the turn. The New Market, Md., native made six pars with two bogeys and a birdie at No. 16 for his four-over 75, tied for 62
nd.
Edwards recorded four consecutive pars to begin the day but then posted three straight bogeys before a birdie at No. 9. The Brookhaven, Ga., native collected five pars with three bogeys on the back nine but ended the round with a birdie on the par-5 18
th hole.
Becker started the round with five bogeys in the first seven holes before settling down. The Mexico City, Mexico, native shot one-under over the last 11 holes with two birdies (9, 13) and one bogey.
Circeo carded two bogeys and a birdie in the first eight holes before a double bogey at No. 9. The Lexington, Ky., native netted three bogeys with a birdie at No. 17 on the back nine five-over 76, tied for 72
nd.
The second of three rounds take place Monday.
