Journey Morrison placed third in the 60-meter hurdles in school-record time and sophomore
Abigail Armstrong finished fourth in the 800-meters for the Sewanee women Saturday at the SAA Indoor Track & Field Championships in Danville, Ky.
Morrison qualified for the hurdles finals Friday and finished third in the event with a time of 9.38 on Saturday, the best mark in school history. In the 800, Armstrong was third in 2:29.06, fourth-fastest in program history, while freshman
Elizabeth Cook placed eighth in 2:32.58 (personal-best) and sophomore
Page Wells finished 12
th in 2:38.09.
Cook also placed sixth in the mile run in 5:30.76, second-best in school history, and freshman
Molly Emmett was 12
th in 6:30.76. Senior
Jocelyn Covaney, freshman
Arianna Shirak, Morrison and Armstrong finished fifth in the 4x400-meter relay in 4:25.34, the second-best time in school history.
In the field events, senior
Kamilla Haidaienko finished seventh in the shot put, posting a mark of 36-feet, 0.75-inches, fifth-best in program history. Freshman

th in the triple jump with a mark of 29-4.75.
