SEWANEE, Tenn. – Sewanee softball coach
Merritt Yackey announced the team's 2026 schedule this week, which includes 17 home games among 40 contests.
The Tigers open the schedule with a six-game road trip starting February 13-14 in Columbus, Miss., facing host Mississippi University for Women as well as Covenant College in doubleheaders both days. The squad also plays at Talladega College on Feb. 15.
The first home games are scheduled for Feb. 26 versus LaGrange College.
Sewanee opens March with a doubleheader at Maryville College on March 1 and plays six games on the road over Spring Break at Hanover College (March 8), Asbury University (March 10) and Berea College (March 11).
The Tigers start a 12-game homestand March 15 with two games versus Wesleyan College. Conference plays begins March 21-22 with a three-game home series against Rhodes College. The club entertains Covenant College for two games on March 25, plays a three-game set versus Southwestern University on March 28-29 and hosts Franklin College for a twinbill on April 2.
Sewanee travels to Centre College for a three-game series on April 3-4 and plays its final home games of the season April 11-12 versus Millsaps College. The Tigers end the regular season with road series at Trinity University (April 18-19) and Berry College (April 25-26).
The SAA Championships are scheduled for May 8-10 in Columbus, Ga.
